Founded in Chicago in 1837, CD Peacock has grown in step with the city, becoming part of its history. Yet the branding had become dated, and its touchpoints had not maintained a premium feel—leading their stores to be overlooked as premier jewelry destinations. By diving into the rich history of the brand, LOMBARDO took inspiration from its first elegant signage and lettering, from jewelers’ marks, from the tones of rare metals and jewels, and from the textures of sophisticated watch bezels. Simultaneously, the strategic messaging and language of the brand tied together the brand’s integrated prominence around Chicago—and how the brand allows customers to create history by celebrating their life’s moments.
